Reported computer crime exploits increased by 150-400% in 2003, by 600-750% in 2004, by 2000% in 2005 and continued to increase thru 2006. Perpetrators of these crimes, whose numbers are also on the rise, operate with almost NO fear of apprehension or prosecution.

HTCI is a leading provider of training for Local, State and Federal agencies in the area of Computer Crime Investigation and Computer Forensics. HTCI conducts training throughout the United States and abroad. Faculty members consist of current Law Enforcement professionals whose goal it is to provide Law Enforce- ment personnel the highest quality, most comprehensive computer investigation training available. HTCI offers Certification Training as well as Specialized Training. Certification Training is a tiered structure, which takes an Investigator from First Responder up through the process of conducting complete digital and forensic investigations, including thorough analysis and processing of digital evidence, and continuing into the complex world of online and network investigations. Our Specialized Training addresses specific areas such as Computer Fraud Investigation, Cell Phone and Portable Storage Investigation and Online Exploitation of Children/Child Pornography Investigations.

HTCI is committed to its goal of providing Law Enforcement the knowledge, tools and training necessary to investigate, apprehend and prosecute these criminals. The ONLY way we can accomplish this goal is through teamwork. HTCI has a very proactive Host Policy. We actively promote the Host Process to qualified Law Enforcement departments, agencies and educational institutions throughout the United States and abroad.
