  HTCI Contract Program

High Tech Crime Institute(HTCI) is the leader in high tech crime training. We provide the latest information on properly investigating high tech computer crimes to local, state, federal law enforcement officers, corrections officers and corporate security agencies. We can also develop customized training courses to meet your specific needs.

HTCI invites your agency to contract one of our dynamic high tech computer crime investigator training courses. The advantage to contracting vs. hosting is cost per seat. If an agency/agencys have 15+ committed attendees, then by contracting the class the cost per seat is reduced. Cost reductions vary based on the specific course and attendence.


Contracting a HTCI course, you receive:

  • Addtional per seat cost reduction over and above our standard Law Enforcement Discount

  • Cutting edge instruction by local, state and federal law enforcement officers, that have specialized in     high tech crime investigations

  • Wireless mobile computer training lab

  • Training material, including; workbooks, lab manuals, and Free investigative software

  • All administrative and on-site lab setup (with coordination through local automation channels)

  • Membership for each student in the high tech crime network (HTN)

  • Membership opportunities for all students into Professionals Against Confidence Crimes (PAAC), and     High Tech Crime Consortium (HTCC)

  • Four levels of Certification in computer crime investigation



  • Host Requirements:

  • Located within 45 minutes of a major airport

  • Comfortable classroom seating for 20 students

  • Laptop work area for 20 laptop/desktop computers

  • Power supplied to each work area for 20 laptop/desktop computers

  • Broadband Internet Connection

  • Administrator contacts and accessibility to certain protected ports commonly found blocked by firewalls

  • LCD projector and 6 ft screen viewable by all students in the classroom

  • Television and VCR audible/viewable by all students in the classroom

  • Daily refreshments

  • * It is recommended all training locations be within 30-45 minutes driving time from major airports
